First A380 In China Southern Colours

Maybe its the green body but the partial paint job looks very unbalanced to me.
 
I was lucky enough to see this bird on the final testing line in TLS a few weeks ago.

Like the Boeing tour though, Airbus were not keen on anyone taking photos (cameras prohibited) so I couldn't get a photo of it.

At the time it only had it's tail logo and had not been painted yet, but it was cool to see their first one before it rolled out!

Yes, but not the first A380 DOM flight, that title want to QF a few weeks back.

There were probably other DOM flights previously too on 380s but these are planned and marketed ahead of time, not part of irrops.
 
But the stripe acrossthenose improves the appearance of the a380 a great deal. Having a band there makes the beast look more like a sleek conventional liner than the bloated thing it actually is. I hope more airlines put a stripe on it.
