First 789 route MEL/LAX from Dec 2017

Im so pleased Qantas is putting some effort into Melbourne and I'm really pleased to have a choice of a decent seat on QF to the US. Pity it's not doing the route before my November trip (I've vowed never to fly on those hideous old 744 or 380 J seats ever again), but 2018 I'll be on it.

This was meant to be on sale yesterday (for 15 Dec 17)*, but I can't find any flights available on this route past 13 Dec 17. Perhaps issues with approvals.

I think it's more booking system rules and requirements. Give it a few more days.

I think QF post flights 353 days out, so should show up some time Tuesday or by Wednesday.

You may well be correct, but the Qantas press release made me feel like Christmas Day would see flights for 15 December 17. The press release does leave room for interpretation.
