The AFF icon no longer shows in my address bar as of an hour ago ; is this something only I am experiencing? Using Firefox 3.6.16.

It seems to show up OK in IE.

Restarted Firefox ..... now showing up. Must have been some weird caching issue.

Not a fan of FF4?

I'm not jumping quite yet. Want to see the waters being tested before getting in.

I've heard that there are still some memory problems with FF4 (leaks and so on). In particular, some plugins have been told to cause horrible memory leaks in FF4.

FF4 does look cool though - don't get me wrong. I'll still probably install Tabs Mix Plus on it when I do finally go FF4, although that depends on if TMP will be supported...

TBH I didn't realise it came out, till this morning.

I've just finished building a SOE for a customer of ours and when I started up FF I noticed it looked different (and like the screenshots I'd seen of v4). That's odd, I thought! So.. went and looked on their website and sure enough, v4 is now out of RC. I'm actually just about to install it. I have a backup of my v3 install so can always rollback if needed

I have installed FF4 on my PC and laptop.

My PC is OK but the laptop is now running (crawling) along very poorly. Is it related to the install? Who knows.

The other issue I have is the displays are different on the two and I cannot work out why.:confused:
This combined with some ADSL problems and I'm currently very unhappy with it all.

I've found that since I've now upgraded, the browser runs much better. I like the cleaner more sleek interface on it too. I've just finished customising it as well to get things back like asking it to save your tabs when closing or restarting. Why they removed that option from the GUI and make you go via about:config I don't know...... let's see how long the snappy performance on it lasts.
