Fine hotels Amex not included

Hi everyone
I am looking into gettg the platinum card for the benefits included

However to my dismay I have been told by their travel team that the hotel I want to book (Four Seasons Bangkok) is not included in their “Fine Hotel and Resorts” category anymore as it changes every year??

I am a bit bummed as I had my mind set this hotel for my family

Any advice or knowledge ?

I think the fine hotels are well indicated on the amex travel website and it varies ... I do see instances one hotel brand at location A is in the collection but at location B is not.
