FINALLY! - Citi launching Citi Prestige with Visa Infinite

Just planning trip next year to Conrad Maldives Rangali Island resort on Hilton HHonours points. Was going to fund most of it with Citi points conversion. Just looked into Citi rewards and there's a prominent banner ad - the double points promo is back - usually 1:1, currently 2:1 (4 HH points per AUD spent and 10 HH for AUD for overseas spend) until January 13. Thought might be of interest to other members who have mentioned it before.

Great news for my booking. Though had only 10 minutes earlier bought 160K HH points as I was short and didn't want to risk losing the room I wanted. Still a great result. Leaves extra points to transfer for Flight redemptions :)

thanks for the heads up - used this to redeem for 10 nights at Conrad Maldives for our honeymoon in March, and 10 nights (2 rooms * 5 night redemptions in Austin during a festival)

going to be tough to say goodbye to this card in a month when our mortgage finalises!

I think this is a great offer. Only thing missing from Prestige is SPG. Best card in my portfolio even without a fee discount this year having spent more than ever on it.
If Amex does change MR it will go back to being my main go to card. Best card on the market IMO well worth the annual fee.

I haven't used the complimentary meet & greet service for a while, and I emailed concierge about making a booking for a flight into SIN next month. I'll be travelling with my wife and 2 yo son. The concierge email advised that the meet & greet is only for the primary cardholder, and as such any extra passengers will be charged full price.

Does anyone have experience with this? The last time I used it (admittedly in 2014) my wife was with me and there were no issues.

Hi i am not too familiar with HH program this offer sounds good. Is it good value? How do you work out the value per point and compare it to KF? i normally transfer to KF for business/first flights

For me, J/F flight redemptions are where the best value is with points being worth up to 3-7c for me to use in J and suites.
I generate more points than I can currently burn for flights so when I get to my destination, I like to stay at aspirational hotels. I value HH points at approx 0.5c for HH so a Citi reward point is worth 2c to me using this promotion (2.5c for the Conrad Maldives given the base room rate). Whilst not as good value as flying, helps me burn my points for some pampering.
Outside of this double offer on HH, I think it's quite ordinary value and prefer to use SPG. Have stayed at some great properties in HK and Paris this year a week at a time on points & getting effectively 2.5c/Starpoint (generate these on Diners and Amex - if Citi - since they own Diners - would introduce SPG on Prestige, that would make my day and I'd close the other cards).

Sounds like another enhancement. Last time I used it was in May and I used it for my wife and I together and they just used the 2 passes for the one 'incident' which was fine by me as I generally travel to APAC once a year so got to use both passes on the one trip. If they've further enhanced it, outside of the point earn, represents a further downgrade of Prestige's so far great value offering.

Just logged into my citibank rewards, clicked points transfer. Only shows this. No partners to choose ffrom? Anyone else have this problem?

Has anyone booked the comp limo from NRT? But landing in terminal 1? Instructions given doesnt mention anything about T1. Flying TG. Or do you guys contact the driver directly when you land?

Transfer Service meeting point:pick Up - Narita Airport : For passenger who arrives to Terminal 3: Please note there is no car park at Narita Terminal 3, all passengers are required to take the shuttle to Terminal 2 for boarding. Driver will not hold signage at T3. Driver will hold signage waiting at the T2 shuttle bus stop. Alternatively, passenger can contact driver's mobile phone directly upon arrival and driver will arrange a curbside pick-up outside of the T3 building.

Had anyone used the 'Meet and Assist' service in SIN? Does it actually fast track you through immigration or is it one of the less useful services where a person walks with you to the immigration desk you otherwise would have walked to yourself?

Hi - I have not used the service at NRT (only at KIX). Driver stands outside with a sign and it is all easy peasy.

But to answer your question - the reason why they make special mention of T3 is because it is a budget terminal and is connected to T2 via a long walk-way (no cars / buses able to get there IIRC the last time I was there).

T1 (and T2) arrival into NRT will be very normal - expect the driver to hold up the sign as per usual at the arrivals hall

never used it in SIN. But the question is - why would you want to use it in SIN (where the likely benefit of a fast track to you will be quite small given the airport efficiencies)

Quite the opposite. Singapore is one of the best uses possible for fast track as you are escorted by buggy to the VIP immigration which is totally separate from the normal mass immigration areas.

This also lets you use the private/VIP terminal arrivals lounge while you wait for your car.

Looking for opinion from those who successful upgrade fr Signature to Prestige without another credit check and income ....as my income is below 150K requirement for the prestige .

1. i recently got a signature card with $199 ana fee with limit of 20K is this limit high enough for Prestige ?
2. how the annual fee work if you got upgrade , do they refund you the signature annual fee and charge a new prestige annual fee .
3. Is the signature visa good for ATO payment ?

Citi stiffed me on ATO so I knew the answer. I was able to get that amount of FF points back when I took up their 15% transfer bonus so I feel I am square with them now.
