FINALLY! - Citi launching Citi Prestige with Visa Infinite

Can't you simply transfer points to your own Krisflyer account and then redeem them for tickets in somebody else's name?

You only get 5 nominees and they can only be changed every 6 months. I have other people I wish to redeem flights for - used to transfer to another account with another 5 nominees.

Yes, SQ and VA are both 1.33 on this card, and hard to beat (although Avios will be getting a workout on expensive shorthaul OW routes).
1.33 SQ and VA is the highest for any Visa or Mastercard as far as I am aware.
Shame about the $700 fee.

I think Citi has added significantly more partners for Prestige card, I've check Signature page, and nothing is changed, only Emirates, SQ Krisflyer and Velocity are listed.

Signature is also supposed to include CX, I thought.

Signature is 1.5/$ and 4/$ on international spend, so am I right that Prestige goes to 2/$ local and 5/$ for international?

And is it 2 Citi points = 1 Asia Mile, or 1 Citi point = 1 Asia Mile, etc?

There is nothing changed for Signature unfortunately, only Krisflyer & Velocity is available for redemption

Not a lot tempting me to pay the $700 upgrade to prestige from the free-for-life Signature...

If they add SPG on the other hand....

sigh - good thing i'm not at work this morning -

2 Citibank reward points = 1 Asia Mile i.e. $1 spend for 2 reward points for 1 AM
2.5 Citibank reward points = 1 Skywards Mile,
1.5 Citibank reward points = 1 KrisFlyer mile / velocity

took me 3 posts to get here. sorry all

I wonder how the 15pc F/J airfare discount works. I'm curious. Need a cardholder to call asking for it!

So the optimum use of this card would seem to be SQ flights. Warehouse at Citi before transferring.

Does AVIOS add any value for Australian initiated flights? Wouldn't Virgin be the best option for Short haul Aus initiated routes?

9000 Avios for QF J MEL-SYD/CBR/ADL/HBA is attractive.
Internationally, it's also good for MIA to the near Caribbean in Y/J and some intra-Europe in Y.
