FINALLY! - Citi launching Citi Prestige with Visa Infinite

That happened last year to me I wanted to book NYC for July but couldn't book beyond March. By the time March came around, the hotel I wanted was no longer on the list. I think they review their suppliers annually. I suspect they're trying to keep Prestige as Citi's equivalent to Amex Platinum Charge.
Might explain why they've kept it at $1:1 for most airline conversions much like Amex Membership Rewards & concentrated most cuts on Largely fee free signature.

That explains why my request made for June 2016 was 'not available' when made 2-3 months ago.

Will request a fee reduction in view of such benefits cut back

Even tho the micro site has been removed (or updated), their card site still listed it as a benefit so they haven't removed it. The hotels might get updated though.

Struggling to use your Frequent Flyer Points?

Frequent Flyer Concierge takes the hard work out of finding award availability and redeeming your frequent flyer or credit card points for flights.

Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, the Frequent Flyer Concierge team at Frequent Flyer Concierge will help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

I can't find updated T&C's, access to the microsite is still out, but the Prestige page on the main site still lists the free hotel night but no mention of the golf, limo, bonus night when staying 4 nights, hotel program status's, amongst other things.

Anybody tried to arrange any of these things for 2016 yet, and been successful?

Tried to arrange the 4th night for July onwards this year. Told that they can't quote cause of technical issues, only dates loaded until June. Told it has been escalated and will be resolved this week. Will keep the forum updated. Will also try and organise the limo transfer with some flights that i will book tomorrow....

I called concierge today and booked the following:

- 1 free complimentary night at Sofitel Wentworth in Sydney this month.
- 2 free limousine transfers for my flight arrivals in March (ICN & SYD)
- 1 free Fast Track + Meet & Greet service at KLIA2 in March.

So the benefits are still alive for the ones above at least. :)

Well done jakiman - after reading email from Citi this aft I honestly thought free hotel night and airport transfers were thing of the past - best I try to book a couple tomorrow.

Also noticed few changes to the benefits today: (mostly downgrades but some new additions)
Citi Prestige Card: A new credit card for unforgettable experiences.

1. Enjoy room upgrades, daily continental or full breakfast for two and late checkout with Starwood, Ritz-Carton and Mandarin Oriental hotels. (Interesting)
2. Join Hilton HHonorsTM and be on the fast track to earning HHonorsTM Gold status by simply completing 2 stays or 4 nights at any participating Hilton. (Downgrade!)
3. Two free Fast Track airport passes. (Not all airports support Fast Track but still something new nonetheless)
4. Enjoy 3 complimentary green fees at select courses across Asia Pacific. (Used to be unlimited I believe?)
5. Enjoy 20% off on international door to door luggage collection and delivery service. (only 20% so meh)
6. Stay connected with low cost global Mi-Fi roaming. (Low cost?)
7. There is NO mention of the 1 FREE complimentary night per year. (But I was able to book it today. Might not last though?)

I'm sure I missed many others so hope others can fill in also. :)

I think you have pretty well nailed the changes - didn't notice the free breakfast at Starwood though - best I call and clarify - that has significant value.

I sent a message to Citi on the portal, they couldn't point me to the T&C's and ignored my queries so this is good timing.

free hotel night is still there (list seems to be same as last year) the other loyalty program benefits seem to be restricted to Asia Pacific.

Nice to see limo is still there, thought that fast track was there last year too though?

yes golf benefit has been downgraded, no indication of where the list of available courses is either (was previously any public course in Aus plus unlimited play at 14? specific courses.

So not too bad overall but the end date in T&C's for a lot of benefits is 31 Dec so it must change each year

Spent considerable time on phone to Citi Concierge this morning and discussed a number of items - I'll try to be brief:

1. Hotel Stay 4 Par 3 Promo - definitely continuing - providing agent has changed - previously Sing based BCD Travel - now Hotels.com - so if looking to book 4P3 look on Hotels.com first - most times best rate you can see their Concierge can give you 4P3 - payment system also changed - previously total amt paid at check out and rebate 1 x nts accom back into your CC in ~60 days - now full pmt 3nts accom at completion of booking - so paid in advance - cancellation / changes subject to individual hotels bookings T's & C's - agent I spoke to sounded quite wishy washy on this - need follow up with again.

2. HH and Shangri La benefits definitely gone. Concierge staff claim they are totally unaware of any agreement with SPG - and that the benefit stated earlier in thread is indeed for USA and Asian customers and not Australian.

3. Airport transfer service is continuing with changes to distance of carriage and changes to extra distance charge - see here:

4. Free hotel nt is continuing with no change at this point in time for hotels eligible.

I still have some other matters to resolve with a more senior Concierge Agent however he was not at work today and will contact him next day or so. I am pretty confident above info accurate - will post more as I become aware.

The SPG Ritz Carlton benefit has nothing to do with Citi. It is a benefit of Visa infinite which has a separate concierge. So if u want those benefits, make sure you book through visa not citi.

more details please?

i sent them an email this morning and got this as a response...
We received your email regarding to the changes to your card.

I will pass your request to our Melbourne specialist, then we will contact you via email before 12:30 Melbourne time.

the non update to my above post is per below...
to be honest i didn't realise that concierge wasn't a team at citi and that it has been outsourced - so that's at least a tidbit of info.

Thank you for your email enquiring about changes to your card.Citibank has not advised us of any new benefits as per your email so unfortunately I am unable to provide you with any further information. For further information regarding these benefits you will need to contact Citibank, not the Concierge service.

Please refer to the T&C under Starwood luxury and Ritz Carlton. It states clearly to "call visa concierge". "Reservation must be made through VISA concierge or VISA website".

It is a benefit of Visa Infinite, not Citibank. I was confused before and trying to use VISA luxury hotel benefit with Citi concierge, and I was told it is different.

So basically Citibank is removing the shangri-la/most of hilton and trying to pass off the Visa Infinite benefit as its own.

Anyone have more information on this? Are the rates actually reasonable?

Might be a moot point if you mostly travel to Vodafone Red Roaming countries (and less than 90 days a) $5 a day very convenient-albeit might need to rely on your mobile as your hotspot to get other devices online. This is particularly so as Vodafone has been increasing data inclusions.

anyone else notice the subtle switch in way the points conversion is displayed? just flipped it over, but gave me a fright initially.
