I just booked a cheap Pacific Blue happy hour deal... SYD-NAN AU$393 all in... arriving Nadi around 2pm, now trying to figure out the best hotel deals.

I was thinking 1st night at the Hilton (Fiji Beach Resort & Spa) FJ$225 a night... next morning take an all day boat tour seeing some of the islands north of Viti Levu...

Then 2nd night at Intercontinental (Natadola Bay) FJ$210 a night... taking a bus between Nadi and Coral Beach...

And 3rd night back at the Hilton...

What do you think, is there a better deal for the money out there?

thanks,

I've stayed at a few hotels on Denarau and the rooms at Hilton is the best of them all. All hotels in Denarau island are swimming pool hotels as you wouldn't want to go near the beach.

FJ$225 (A$145) is a great rate as I paid A$400 for a basic room 2 years ago!

There is not a great deal to see at Coral Coast as the beaches there are not that great. You may want to consider staying at one of those island resort accessible from Denarua pier as they are very nice. The boat trip should give you an idea and booking a room should not be a problem.

Good luck!

What dates are you looking at? Be aware that this hotel has only just opened up to the public and is no where near completed. It's a magic place don't get me wrong but there is still construction going on at the time of writing.
