The mobile networks here (Vodafone and Digicell) are still up and down. Roads have mostly reopened on the Coral Coast so transport to/from NAN is operational once again.

Things do certainly feel back to normal after the TC.

The word I heard from SPG that the damage to their properties is not serious.
Problem is their insurance policy has a $1million excess so they have to stump up the money themselves.I didn't ask whether Fiji or Aust dollars.

Thanks for the link and that's a great idea to have a summary like that.

Sounds like most escaped with only minor damage.

I feel lucky to have got back from Fiji only a few days before the cyclone hit.. stayed at a starwood property it was amazing and the grounds well kept, would hate to see what it looks like at the moment.
I hope they all bounce back quickly.

An update posted, apart from the Westin and the islands it looks like most are back to normal:

  • Yasawa Island Resort – re-opening 01 March 2013
  • Castaway Island – re-opening 01 April 2013
  • Likuliku – re-opening 01 April 2013
