Flew back from Fiji last Sunday and is was the 1st day of their "new in flight service", the Bula box which we had on the way over is gone and was replaced by "traditional" air style servings. They said it was the 1st day of it, and looked like there were a couple of teething problems but seemed to work ok.

Didn't really know wheat to expect with Fiji air but both trips were fine although the bula box was certainly different on the way over to Fji.

I’m certainly not one to whinge but I have to agree (with the comments posted on skytrax) having recently completed a return flight BNE-NAN-LAX on Fiji Airways. The inflight economy offerings were terrible, worse then LCC with no option to purchase better offerings.

A330 service was fantastic (as a bonus our 737 service NAN-BNE was upgraded to A330) but having flown Air Pacific a few years ago (BNE-NAN-LAX) on the old 737/747 service the staff just disappear for hours once the lights go off.

Flew on points so certainly didn’t feel hard done by but geez they still have a long way to come (which I was disappointed with, I really wanted Fiji Airways to have grown with the rebrand).
