THE eldest daughter of Bob Hawke was separated by police from her stepmother Blanche d'Alpuget last week after an ugly confrontation at Brisbane Airport's most exclusive lounge. The two women were dealt with by federal police officers after allegedly arguing in Qantas's invitation-only Chairman's Lounge on Thursday afternoon.

Australian Federal Police confirmed the incident - described by one police source as a "proper physical domestic" - but said there would be no further action because there was no formal complaint made.

I recall many, many years ago Miss Hawke was the manager of the Canberra GW lounge (or was it the QP? - too much fog in Canberra).

Perhaps she got an upgrade.

Thinking further it was probably the QP as Hawke/Abels hated Ansett.
