I've got to head up north to the Pilbara to shoot some photography for an environmental program on a minesite. Normally I book all my own tickets but the client is organising the tickets on QF for this job. If they are purchasing the tickets on their corporate deals do I still get my QFF status extra baggage allowance? I've never been in this situation before so I have no idea what the rules are for this.

Hi,

As long as your FF number is included in the booking or you show your card on check in you will have all the status benefits.

It is possible their corporate arrangements provide for additional baggage. For example my domestic B class economy trips this week have a 57kg checked baggage allowance.

Richard.

Cheers for that - will make life simple then.

Now that would be nice:) - I will check with them but they mainly fly their FIFO workers up and back so it's probably just the standard 23kg allowance.
