Feeling very frustrated with QFi right now...

After being 'enhanced' by the aircraft downgrade for my flight to SIN in late November, where I've lost my PE seats, I've now being given another aircraft downgrade from a refurbished B747-400 to a non-refurbished one for my flight to JFK at the end of this month! The thought of facing those awful Mk1 seats on a 14 hour flight to LAX, especially when my sale fare was still more expensive compared to the competition, just fills me with dread. All this has made me much less likely to purchase tickets with QF in the future because there is nothing I hate more than product inconsistency, especially when you're expecting one product and end up getting an inferior one. QF have already alienated me somewhat with their recent QFF changes and this is just the final nail in the coffin! :evil:

There is still plenty of time for the 747 to change configs if your flight is at the end of the month.

Not only that, but there are documented ways of making the Mk1 skybeds more comfortable than when they are fully reclined/stretched out. Also, it is worth remembering that a droopy Mk2 is almost the same in terms of comfort levels.

I appreciate your disappointment and feelings of ill will towards QF, probably more so for your loss of Y+ to SIN, than the change in J seat, but in the grand scheme of life you will survive.

Aircraft changes are not limited to QF so changing carriers won't result in always getting the aircraft you want...

I'm flying to JFK tomorrow with QF and the LAX-JFK segment, after a change of aircraft last week, will now be operated by VH-OJA or VH-OJI...no F cabin in those two birds unfortunately...

LOL! I already have, I suppose. Apart from my upcoming flight to JFK and the flight to SIN in November, I have no other QF bookings (domestic or international). I have lots of other travel plans this year but none are on QF except for the ones I have just mentioned.
