Australia to USA flights | Qantas | Airlines charge more for Australians

"Australians flying Qantas to the US face prices up to 60 per cent more than Americans pay to fly here with the same airline."

Comments?

Old news. This pops up every now and then. It is the same in many other markets. Supply and demand.

US is a lot closer to most of the rest of the world so QF is not just competing with DL, VA, & UA for $$ it is competing with a whole range of airlines and destinations, and places that are lot closer. Plus QF is obviously a much more well known brand in Australia and people are willing to pay a premium for that.
