Hi All,

I'm trying to book flights to HKG via SIN on SQ, and want a flexi fare so I can upgrade. On the way back there are 4 flights SIN-SYD, 2 overnighters and 2 daytime flights. I always go for SQ211 - leave at 9.30am and get home at 7.30pm-ish - it's a great flight IMO.

BUT - for some reason the two day time flights are 'greyed out' so I can't select them, with a message saying that the selected flight can't be combined with the others, or something like that.

I know yield management is a complicated thing, but why not just let me select the damn flight I want and charge me extra? I'll pay whatever it is!

Really starting to get the sh*ts with SQ and their coughpy website. Which is a shame, because I'd still rather be flying with them than anyone else.

Rant over!

I find the staff at SQ to be reasonable so just try giving them a call.
I don't call Citibank nor Westpac and I prefer not phoning ATO nor Westpac. Hang on I left out Synergy....these are all huge time wasters if you try calling them without a direct line.
