Looking to book a multi city booking as follows LAX-MEL-PER-MEL-LAX (Stopovers in MEL each direction) In Y+ for the International legs
Doing some dummy bookings online, it is showing the Fare Type as Flexi Saver. Then clicking on the link shows the fare conditions stating that points and SC will earn at the economy rate, (NOT DISCOUNT). So will the Y+ flight credit as Y+ points and SC and will the domestic flights credit at full Y?
Doing the identical booking however starting and ending in PER shows the fare Type as Premium Economy Sale. And conditions say Flights earn points and SC at Y+. Calling QF they said economy flights book into B? (Discount economy?)
So what should i trust? And if the domestic flights do end up posting at discount Y can i ask for full Y?
Any clarification would be great!
cheers gogo
