Famous people seen (or even met) whilst flying or lounging

Flight from Syd to Lax in first, shared cabin with Miranda Kerr and delightful son Flynn. He entertained people in the cabin playing hide and seek between the suites. So cute!!! Mr Caesia would agree but of Miranda not Flynn.

Ricky Pointing in the overcrowded BNE J class lounge today, trying to look inconspicuous (various a.. hats kept pestering him).

-Cathy Freeman-olympic runner

I would have thought AJ would have been flying privately?

Not necessarily. Many "A" level celebrities fly commercial, especially if they don't have much of an entorage with them. Generally they are quite discrete and try not to be recognised.

Flying privately (charter or own plane) can be extremely expensive depending on the origin, destination, route, flying time, etc.

NQ Cowboys (NRL) now in TSV flying to CNS on QF2312. Trial game vs St George this weekend apparently. Bus would get them there about as fast you'd reckon with all the hanging around airports taken into consideration. Perhaps not.

The whole team seems to wear 'DVT' stockings.

I was wondering...

And soon after my post above, before boarding VA1518 I saw Prof Tim Flannery and his team (or entourage) come off VA1519. Looked like he was dressed for the scrub, but maybe he always is.

So what is AFF policy regarding famous people you may have seen but you were not actually flying / lounging at the time?

This morning I saw Janet Jackson (Michael's sister) at Westfield Southland.

Hang on - hang on - I was in Southland to purchase some Westfield XS cards as discussed in another AFF thread.

Six degrees of seperation / chain reaction / chicken and egg - whatever - my seeing Janet was indeed precipitated by AFF - so I will assume posting Janet's pics below is in accordance with AFF policy:

Being the good conservationist that he espouses to be, I trust that he was Y'ing it.

Melbourne to Sydney Saturday night Grant Hacket in Qantas J.
He really needed an exit row seat and maybe slightly higher ceiling!

If descending in an elevator from the 21st floor of the BNE Hilton counts as flying, then Sat morning my wife and I shared some quality time with the esteemed Leader of the Opposition, Mr Tony Rabbit, accompanied by his ever present PA.

Anyone heard of Fergie from Black Eyed Peas.... Josh (hubbie) had a book on fatherhood to read but slept on it. They had 2 others with them in BA First Class to Heathrow from LAX last night.
