Sat with Ex PM Mr John Howard flying SYD-ADL last night.

Firm hand-shake, nice guy, good chat and very friendly to me and everyone else who came past.

Was very interesting to watch everyone walk past and see the double takes on some people's faces. Still very much a public personality.

Well it wasn't in a Lounge, but this morning met the 25th prime minister of Australia

Scarey thing is even if you oly had 30 seconds of conversation, he will remember both of you next time, even if it is in a few years & in different context.

Just to add to that... he just left the First Dining area, so must actually be in the F cabin (I'm guessing on QF2 with medhead QF10 with me). I wonder if he wants to swap for my whY seat. Should I ask him?

I did meet her and she was so convincingly friendly I thought I must have been quite a close friend at some point and had forgotten. She was so convincing it took me a few seconds to remember she was being a politician.

She was education minister at the time and doing an OK job.

Saw Meg Ryan May 2011 Flagship lounge AA LAX her assistant was down other end of lounge leaving her to her privacy and only came back to take her rollabag for flight.
