Famous people seen (or even met) whilst flying or lounging

Maybe a change in thread title is needed: “People seen (or even met) whilst flying or lounging”.

“Famous” seems to be rather overrated here. It’s certainly in the eye of the beholder. 🤣

Edited: Removed “puffed-up”

Matt seems like a good bloke, unsure what his real motivation for being on MAFS was but hope it works out for him.

On the same flight as Peter Carey (the author not the actor) with family, and Richard Wherrett Brisbane - Sydney.
Just days later was in the book store at Sydney T3, Ray Martin wandered in.

Way back in the days when we could travel ;) Sat next to Rev. Jesse Jackson on an internal flight in the States. Also seen Rolf Harris (should keep quiet about that one), Dawn French (galleries at LHR), Guy Pearce on a flight from LHR to KUL and Peter Mandelson (Eurostar) plus a few ex Footballers at LHR T5 First Lounge after they did their show on Sky Sports (Soccer Saturday).

I have flown with Sir Angus Houston. Does that count?
He was my copilot on my second ever command flight in an Iroquois. (He was learning to fly Iroquois also)
He sure does count. Had dealings with him a number of times at RAAF Graduation ceremonies in WA when he was CAF, and then he moved onward and upwards... A thorough gentleman.

Yes he is a thorough gentleman who still remembers and looks out for his long term friends. I have only known him for 52 years.
