Famous people seen (or even met) whilst flying or lounging

Cate Blanchett, husband, (very young) baby and entourage on SYD-MEL a few weeks ago. All seated in Y, spread throughout the cabin.

Baby was very well behaved!

Adam Gilchrist, in white Suncorp polo shirt at Rockhampton airport, boarding VA1248. He was beyond row six (I was in 6A) and I might see him on the connecting VA982 to Sydney. Very easy-going, posed for several photos and had a chat with people who approached him...

Ray Martin in SYD Bus Lounge lunchtime today (I wanted to go up and say "It's Midday with Ray"....but it was 1.45pm)

Not strictly flying, but CDKing and had the unfortunate pleasure of meeting Chad Kroeger, lead singer of NickleBack, in a pub in Melbourne the other week... Neither of us knew who he was, but he thought he was important.

Flying from TXL -> LHR -> SFO, 23rd April, Steve Wozniak was in both flights. Had a brief chat to him while waiting for our bags, great guy, super friendly.

He even entertained an elderly gentleman, who had no idea who he was, who was complaining about his iPhone and asking for help getting it setup.

Both of you please accept my sincerest apologies, and proof that those of us in the LOTFAP are nicer than LOTFAP's hat :D.

Well, Woz left Apple well before the iPhone even existed, but still :D.

Technically neither flying nor lounging, but the entire Sydney Swans squad in the same Melbourne hotel we also stayed at. Not sure whether it is okay to mention the hotel so I won't, however they were all nice and courteous and open for a chat. They had their own, separate breakfast area, too. Spent some time with the coach in the lift and talked about the game at the MCG that night, which we also went to. Unfortunately, no invitation to a VIP lounge was forthcoming but it was still a great game - if you support the Swans, that is!

Sat next to a movie director or producer from ATL-LAX last week. He only has a few mentions on IMDB so far.

The big tip off was the Roy Hill script he was reading on the flight ...

Technically not famous either.
