F MEL lounge opening times

Couldn't the title of the thread have just been changed to something like:

Upcoming ADL-MEL-SIN trip in EK F: any hints?

I think a lot of the responses were in the spirit of what the OP had in mind. It doesn't feel good being told off by a mod in this way when people are trying to help and there is so much meaningless chat elsewhere.
I don't see how JessicaTam's post constitutes "telling off". And in all fairness the OP's original query was simply to confirm lounge hours hence the thread title.

I'm talking about how the thread evolved. It's obvious what sort of advice the OP needed, and it was being provided.

We wandered off topic but no harm done, surely. Can't blame the OP or posters if one initial question leads to several different bits of advice, views and further queries. All part of the fun and reason for such a forum. Given JessicaTam took her mod hat off straight away methinks it wasn't too serious.
