This is a placeholder for sharing my First F experience.

Edit; however, I did make the rookie mistake of going backwards and forwards instead of as they would say in the Sound of Music “you start at the very beginning, it’s a very good place to start”. Which dates me seeing it’s the First movie I ever remember seeing as a kid but I guess F is for fail, on that front. (My second remembered movie is Willie Wonka and the chocolate Factory hosted. In Woomera (that GI Joes “manning” a rocket base. Such an exotic place with an outrageous escapade.

So the actual order is
ADL to SYD and now WITH QF F Exburance, Dubai, landing in Amsterdam in perhaps a days time !

So let’s tell a good story of wonder and amazement and ‘Live the Dreams”

So the story begins...

As many of you would know, finding Award flights at the last minute are the pits..... and yet late last week Th/Fri 12/13 Sept up popped an array of F options from Bris, Syd and Melb.... or perhaps it was that I really wanted to fly from home (ADL) or QR from Perth....

Anyway, “someone” stole my preferred Tues departure ex Melb so here I am in the QF F lounge enjoying the divine Squid



The Perrier-jouët was tasty while calling the banks to advise of my OS TRIP


THE Pommery I really like this champagne.

Now before rolling in here, since when is the SPA CLOSED at night...... I entrances myself at the EK lounge down by Gate 57... it’s a maiden time there and it was Quiet, quiet, so a tasty morsel in prep for the main dining event at QF F and 3K.

Love the idea of the fountain but no cigar on the landlines.... so it was over to QF F

I did spend the day in a very wet Sydney so took the opportunity catch up with a former work colleague. And another who’s still there (and doing consults for the IMF or something)







With our new found freedom, and time plus money we revel in the domain of travel, he with his wife having done the annual European trip (plus Cornwall) and in August Lake Eyre. Highly recommended as the lake is full!

By contrast, Adelaide was crisp but divine this am...

Since it’s a reward flight, no chauffeur
Adelaide Metro did a half hopeful impression of a driver burning thru the city in a big SUV - it’s behind me at the stop...
