Does anyone else check ExpertFlyer repeatedly before flying, or is it just me? ;)

Anyway, when I last checked, my allocated seat (as per Qantas' MYB) on QF93 tomorrow was taken, as you'd expect. But I just checked again, and it's showing as empty on ExpertFlyer. But Qantas still has me in that seat, as does (the newly updated) checkmytrip.com. Does ExpertFlyer know something that the airline doesn't?

BTW, MYB is already showing my upgrade request as declined (lack of points), so I doubt it's that. Could it be an op-up?

Anyway, I though it a bit odd, and wondered if anyone else had seen that before.
