Some months ago I noticed that the EF app “Seat Alerts” for iOS was misbehaving. Not remembering login details each time you opened it but was otherwise functional.

On my last trip, the install on my iPad wasn’t logging in at all so I thought I’d delete it and reinstall. Turns out it‘s no longer available in the Oz iOS App Store 😳.

Does anyone know if it’s been pulled entirely?

Obviously, the website is still working but the iPhone app is great for doing quick seat map checks.

Yes has been disabled for weeks now. Shame.
Fortunately I keep it on my iPhone but eventually there’ll be some future OS update that’ll make it croak entirely…😔

Wasn't it always functionally just a WebView (i.e. the same as visiting the mobile website)?

No it was a specific app with some extra functionality over the website like the ability to view the actual live seat map of a saved seat alert. The mobile web version only allows you to do a quick check against the alert criteria but won’t show you the seat map.

You can see the seat map when creating a new alert but it’s a little clunkier than the app.

Agreed, I was referring to a saved alert - on the app you could go into an alert and view and modify the selections on the seat map after you had created the alert but that functionality is not available on the website

And for me that day had arrived, I can no longer log into the app. Web login only available, seems a backward step.

Sadly, I deleted the App and the App is no longer available from Oz App store
As did I but I had a copy of the app on my iPad and I was able to transfer that copy to my iPhone using the iMazing software.

Worth looking to see if you have seat alerts still installed on another device.

I deleted it from the iPad but keep it on the phone. I don’t mind using the website on the iPad but the app is more convenient on the phone. Glad I kept it there - even if it’s a little clunky now.

Looks like the IOS App is available once again. Downloaded the App and looks to be working normally.
Yes. Very odd. No update as such, just restored to the App Store.

I noticed a few weeks ago that the login issue on Android has resolved itself too.
