I flew them LAX-JFK and JFK-LAS a couple of months ago. Really good airline and I would def. fly with them again. Nice new (and clean) planes, friendly staff and easy check in. They also have a pretty good selection of TV channels that are free to watch as well. Seats are pretty good too.

In the past I always had flown with AA due to the points, but to be honest I think in future I'd rather fly with Virgin America again.

If you're interested they also do upgrades for cheap at 24 hours out (main cabin to main cabin select) and 6 hours out (for upgrades to first)

If you are accustomed to elite benefits when travelling in the US, you won't be impressed with their ground service at all. That said, in the air they're excellent! The service they offer is very much geared toward longer stage lengths, so I think you'll enjoy it. :)

I have flown Virgin America on numerous occasions whilst in the US and can't praise them enough. My choice of airline to fly when i can , whilst in the US. You don't have massive queues to checkin , their aircraft are new & the service is excellent . Airfares are quite reasonable also , although depending when your flying in December, maybe on the high side , like most airlines ,if around Xmas.

Hi all,

Attempting to book ticket on their website and cannot see if FREE 1 CHECKED bag or not?
No fare restrictions but info is unhelpful?
Will it be definitely an Extra $25 for a bag?

They were doing a system upgrade in the last week so might still be having some teething issues.
