Experiences with flights BA16 and BA15

Thanks for that - it's what I was able to surmise from a bit of research, but very helpful to have it laid-out so clearly. I think we can get access to either AMEX, Mylounge or No.1 Lounge depending on how close these each are to departure gate.
Detailed timings for BA16 here: BA16 (BAW16) 英国航空公司 Flight Tracking and History - FlightAware. You could have as little as 45 mins from doors open until boarding again. Some of the transits are down to just 75 mins in total!

There’s no AMEX lounge at SIN. Looks like BA uses Terminal 1, so Maharaba or SATS: https://www.americanexpress.com/en-au/travel/lounges/the-platinum-card/SIN/ (although depends where in T1 your gate is)

Thanks - sorry I missed this reply somehow.

What is the rough 'layover' time in SIN for BA16 (SYD-LHR), and can you depart the gate area to find a lounge?

I do BA16/15 twice a year on average. The average practical amount of time that you have is 45 mins - 1 hour depending on how quickly you are able to disembark.

The below by @anat0l mirrors my experience of what you can feasibly fit in the transit in both directions.

You can also go seek out a lounge (e.g. the BA lounge); you'll probably just have enough time for maybe a shower (if you can nab one as soon as or close to your getting there), a snack and/or drink and a breath before you have to head back to the gate (remember to factor in time to pass security).
