Has anyone had the pleasure of dealing with the new UA MP call centre in Manila to obtain awards on *A partner airlines? I'm interested in hearing how the experience went.

Wow, in almost a year no one has used the Manila call centre? I think I will be using them next week to book BNE RAR-MP award. The trip will be for the last 2 weeks of April so I guess I have to get in there early? Or are award tickets to RAR easier to get now that the PPT segment has been taken off the routing? They used to go AKL-RAR-PPT-LAX, now they cut PPT.

The problem is, we are going for a specific festival which usually occurs the last 2 weeks of April and traditonally ends the Friday that falls right before the QLD Labour Day weekend. This could change though, and I don't think the schedule will go up until end of the year.

If we book them now, how easy/cheap is it to change them?

Hi,

My travel agent had the experience today with them and they were as useless as %^&* on a bull. Very un helpfull and sounded like they weren't interested from the one side conversation I heard.

I've alos called them earlier this year and experienced the same. No real customer service I found. May be its their culture in the way they speak to people that isn't the best?????
