I've never really been able to take advantage of doing a flight + hotel booking as I'm usually not wanting to return to my departure city.

Heading to London next year and then to Berlin for a week. Checked out the expedia combo deals and was amazed at the value.

I'm flying BA LHR to TXL with 7 nights at the Mercure Berlin Mitte for just $870 1 person in early Oct 2014. Considering they billed me just $205 for the flight component a couple could have done the trip for around $1075. When I do a search for just the hotel I was being quoted over $1100 and the return flight for my times was $250 and I'm about $450 better off.

Think I'll have to hammer the marketing departments on how to offer these deals where you can multi city.

It's always worth a look in my opinion. Sometimes good deals popup.

Four of us used Expedia for Ireland this year and it worked out really well. We would use them again.
