Hi, a quick question about "exit row seat requests".
I am travelling in J (QF108) and have requested 5B. It's showing in my booking as 5B^ as an exit row seat request.

Just wondering exactly what this means. Does this mean the seat is "definitely" mine (subject to fulfilling exit row requirements at the airport) or is there something more I need to do to secure that seat? My understanding is exit row seats are not charged for in the premium cabins.

Thanks!

You are right - no charge in the Premium cabin.

However, when you selected that seat, there is a seat of conditions that apply to it, and that is what that notation is referring to.

It is basically along the lines of being suitable etc, and if you are deemed not to be suitable, you will be moved blurb.

Exit row seats are only charged for in Economy - CL (and maybe WP1) don't pay.
