hi y'all

if my anniversary is almost up and i need 20 more SC to qualify for silver, if i take a trip worth 240 SC, what happens to the 'extra' 220 once i qualify and then the anniversary date passes?? do they 'hang about' to count towards the SC i need for retaining, or does it all go back to 0 on my anniversary and i need to work towards the retaining 300 from scratch?

i guess my Q is do i postpone the 240 SC trip till after the anniversary date and just do a quick short haul to notch up the 20 SC i need to qualify first? or should i just go ahead with the 240 SC trip, with the additional 220 left over towards my 300 needed to retain silver?

mucho thanks ~

They expire, sadly.

On your anniversary date all your SC's expire and reset to zero.

thx .. (how depressing is that!)

well lucky i found out beforehand! i shall be moving that trip back a week!

thx ~

They expire in one sense, but are kept in another sense.

You have a yearly tally, and a lifetime tally. Your yearly tally counts for Status Qualification/Re-qualification and expires at the end of your year, but the lifetime tally doesn't reset, counts towards lifetime status, and after you have a certain amount of SC's rewards you with a point bonus.

So yes get the 20 before your anniversary date, and let the others help you re-qualify for the following year.
