Looks like there's a 5 day 'points blitz' at Woolies from today:

• $200+ spend in one Woolies shop - 3,000 points
• $250+ shop - 5,000 points
• $350+ shop - 8,000 points

Applies to the first transaction in the 19-23 January period that meets the eligible threshold. Allow up to 10 business days for points to be credited.

I am pleased with my strategy to hold off supermarket purchases early Jan until the offers came back, one big order hit the 8,000 points, the spend target and some others

The kids are happy the shelves are replenished too

Including the offer of 8000 ERP for spending $350+ (which I completed today), I've now 'banked' $130 - equivalent to 13,000 Qantas points - this month alone, which will be held back until August when my membership year re-sets. Changing the redeem option from Bank for Christmas to Qantas points on August 1 will set me up nicely to retain Points Club.

Woolworths thinks that, as I've completed two $65-ish spends as part of the four week spend offer, I'll suddenly up my spending to $130 for 800 points. Errr... how about 'no'?

Also got 450 points for a $15 spend on freezer products.

X2 for me. I have the 4 week deal on mine and wife's flybuys' ($50 on one, $60 on the other) so WW are back on ice for me for a while

I would like to think I am slowly training the WW algorithm that no decent offer = no spend, let's see how that works out for me

How does that make sense when they want you to spend $130 on everything else for 800 and yet if you spend $20 on freezer stuff get 1200 points

$190 for 1100 points. Yep, definitely getting ripped off with these compared to others haha. At least the spend amount is finally starting to come down!

Also got 1000 points for a $30+ spend at a 'partner' (BWS, Big W, EG Ampol, Ampol or Everyday Market) - have 4 weeks to do this one.
