European car hire options

Hi everyone,

Just a quick one - is argus car hire still the goto website for cheap (decent) car hire?

Need a car from Glasgow to LHR and from Rome back to Rome and they are coming up with good prices for petrol cars, but expensive for Diesel.

The are pretty good, but do watch out for some of the sneaky ones such as offsite rental location (wait for a shuttle bus to take you 30 mins to the location, not my idea of fun) and the other one is mandatory pay for a full tank of fuel and bring back empty. I often book the cancellable ones and then if I don't like the provider once booked, cancel and try another...
