AMS Schiphol Airport are trialing a Digital Travel Credential (DTC) on behalf of the European Commission. Not sure if it is a good thing or simply handing more power to those EU buggers. Is it open to fraud, allowing clever terrorists / criminals to arrive/depart/transit undetected?

So you need to register your passport, verify face, etc. at home. Then, at the airport, you still need to go through the turnstile, present your passport and look at the camera. What is the point?
