I am Gold with Etihad. In September I want to fly to NZ with either Air NZ or Virgin. Do I get access to their lounges if I am Etihad Gold and they are partners.
I am a QAntas Club member so usually fly Qantas. However since it's inception Qantas Club members are barely tolerated. Second rate lounges, not always access to Priority check in. When we joined some 18 years ago it was the only lounge, no seperate first and platinum. It was then worth the money. Not any more. Dress standards are appalling.
would appreciate a reply to my first question. Thankyou.

NZ elites get lounge access on EY flights operated with an NZ flight number..... So..I suspect the reverse would be true.

However... if the QP "dress standards" appal you I suggest you don't use an NZ lounge... they are just as relaxed about folks dressing comfortably...

The way I read the link here (Etihad Guest), it doesn't look like you do. The T&C's say that it has to be EY marketing, which if booking a point to point Tasman flight, isn't possible.
