WOO HOO!! Just booked Etihad 1st class apartment, 2 pax, Sydney - Abu Dhabi. Bought miles under the latest AA offer and got two seats for about AU$4,000 inc. taxes. What a bargain. I'm stoked!! :D

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Lucky dog:p

That's my plan - but not enacted. One day!!! Need to buy miles first!

The best way to fly commercial these days (apart from residence which can't be booked on AA). Well done!

one way I take it?

Yes one way to AUH. 21 day cruise to Italy and then ANA J using Lifemiles back to Australia which I bought with a 140% bonus, so all in all we get two one way premium flights for around the cost of economy (being that one way flights are more expensive than open jaw or return tickets.....).

Do you mind me asking how you bought 200,000 AA miles under the current promotion for $4000 AUD?

As purchasing 200,000 miles exactly is costing $4,089.20 USD under the current promotion or $5702 AUD.

Sorry, I already had miles in my account.

I do about six or seven surveys a week with e-Rewards and accumulated about 55,000 miles by this method alone. Now I'm semi-retired I have the time to do this and also research the best ways to get miles for "free". I actually bought 100,000 miles and got 75,000 "bonus" miles.

The miles for the trip back I bought for AU$3273 during Lifemiles 140% bonus sale (AU$414 taxes on top) which was enough for J class fare on ANA. Our QFF point balance is now over 400,000 points (without ever accumulating points through flying!!) as we churn credit cards quite often.

I thank Keith from pointhacks.com.au for helping with the basics to accumulating points. Started this lark in 2011 and have not flown economy since!!

May I ask how many points you average per week doing E Rewards survey? Would be nice to accumlate points that way as well.
