Hi all,
I have a current ESTA that I used for a USA mainland trip last year and have just completed ESTA applications for son and wife for Hawaii in April. My question is, will the fact that my ESTA has a different destination address (LA area) be likely to cause me any bother when entering Hawaii?

I looked through the FAQ on the ESTA site and couldn't find anything relevant, but thought it was worth asking the question anyway.

Cheers.

You need to go and update your ESTA application with your new address. I have used my current application a dozen times and you only need to update it each time. You will need your original ESTA number.

You should be able to log back into the system and update the destination address.

From memory, you can update it without having the ESTA number.

Many thanks, I have just updated my details successfully.

Cheers

You are "supposed" to update your address for subsequent visits - but IME makes zero difference if, like me, you forget to update it from time to time....

YMMV of course

Phew !!!! I thought it was only me there for a second ( I reside at the Hilton LAX) :p

Not sure where I live, but my postcode is 90210

Funny that. I was at the Pandora Radio launch in Australia a few weeks ago. Someone asked the founder, Tim, a question... "How many users do you have in Beverley Hills"?

The audience laughed, and Tim said something like 90210 has so many residents with such diverse music tastes!

I had my usual US residential address in there, forgot to change it, the next few entries were transits to other countries, destinations on the other side of the country etc etc. Never a question or issue......touchwood.

Good to hear pandora has turned up!

Sorry OT....

Yes agreed. Back on topic, I have travelled to the US with a valid ESTA but not updated the address and it has been fine -no questions asked.

Just log back in and update your address as others have mentioned. It shouldn't be a problem when you get there though, the US Government is like Chuck Norris, you don't find them, they find you. :)
