Recently, I went to Cairns to escape the fuss of the papal visit and I was amazed how much there is to see and do up there. The place is gorgeous and so easy to get around. When I got back home, I read a news story about the number of Sydneysiders who had decided on the same Cairns escape plan. Get online to find out about it. The local newspaper, The Cairns Post, has a great website with news and tourism information.
