Emirates regional lounge access with Qantas Club

Hi all - I did have a search, but can't see this being asked before (it must have been and I'm sorry if I missed it!).

I'm flying EK from a UK regional airport to Aus soon in economy (QF codeshare). I'm likely to be doing this monthly for a while and should get gold and then platinum back in a few months but, for now, I have lifetime silver and zero status credits.

I was wondering, if I join the Qantas Club, would I be able to access the regional Emirates lounge in the UK? From what I can see, it looks like the answer is no - I could access in Dubai (I'm straight through so won't have time), but not the regional lounge.

I might join anyway before I fly back as could access in Aus, but might be there for a while so will wait until closer to my flight out of Aus.

Thanks all!

As Qantas Club you will not get into any of the EK lounges until you hit QF Gold, save for DXB (and only when you are on an EK-operated flight with a QF flight number)

While travelling on QF marketed EK operated (code share) UK to AU will earn QF SCs, before status is granted you need to fly 4 off QF operated QF marketed or eligible JQ flights. Unsure if lifetime silver over rides the 4 QF flight rule.

As a guess QF marketed EK operated (code share) UK to AU will be more expensive than all EK. Or other operators. Or even QF marketed QF/BA operated in UK (code share). Unless its some one else's money. expecy you do better than QF fights.

Can get discounted paid QF Club membership via AFF
QF club has access to some AA lounges, Otherwise clear on the QF web site
QF gold (OW sapphire) will gave access to OW lounges. Paid QF lounge goes on hold while QF OWS OWE status is held.
