Emirates Business Flat bed with the window on the 380 is great, if a little awkward to squeeze through for a larger man. However their toilet facilities are totally inadequate in number as they are used by the crew as well. No good at their change from jammies to uniform as we found last week Dubai/SYD. they nipped from behind curtain and were using 3 of the 4 restrooms. Several passengers waited 10 long minutes in frustration until we realised what was happening. Not what I'm paying for!:(

On the topic of toilets, I just did MAS KUL-CDG, and the size of the toilets were over double the size of the QF First Class loo's. I was totally impressed with how massive they were. Also there must have been a few because there was almost a loo free. No queues which was a pleasant change

Qantas J on a 380 LHR-SIN with a full cabin I too thought that the number of loos was inadequate.
Not good enough for this class of travel.

Because so many of us can be packed into a tight space, it's often noticeable how many passengers wait before their food trays are cleared before going to the loo. This even seems to apply for many passengers occupying aisle seats who have the easiest time extracting themselves from a Y seat (I'm not referring to J, as the pitch allows more room for most to get in and out).

This adds to the queues.

It's also amazing how quite a few leave going to the loo until the plane is well into its descent.

If you are in a window seat in Y there is usually no choice other than to wait until the food trays are cleared. I'd love to go to the loo as soon as I've finished my meal and then settle for sleep, but not to the extent of taking an aisle rather than a window-seat. I especially hate SQ insisting on serving their hand-held ice-creams before clearing the trays even of those who don't want ice-cream. (And what sort of dessert choice is that, anyway?)

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Just did Dubai - Sydney in F - HUGE BATHROOM - Great Shower!

I can't understant the 'loo hog's' - how can you need to spend over 10 mins in the bathroom?

Perhaps the airlines could take a leaf out of the Parisian public loo's where the door is on a timer. Light starts flashing 1 minute beofre time is up and then door automatically opens whether you're done or not..

uuhh ahhhh! To much info!

For some reason, I've got a mental picture of Ralph Fiennes on QF123 getting "the hurry up" as the auto-door comes under starters orders...

After having had some dodgy food whilst travelling, I could see 10 minutes being perfectly acceptable to be honest.

A simple #1 for a man - In and out in less than 2 mins
A simple #2 for a man - In and out in less than 4 mins

Okay, well for me, get changed into/out of PJ's
Clean teeth
Toilet
Freshen up, deodorant, aftershave etc and it can easily be 10-15 minutes

Best bathroom on a plane for me so far is the forward SQ A380 J loo, MASSIVE!

Hope we never travel on same flight lovestotravel, with privacy in seat 'capsule' I put make up etc on after trip to loo, hate to keep people waiting and always hope they feel the same.;)

Understandable, but I always time my toilet/freshen up visits to avoid the "peak times"

I don't want to wait for a toilet
I don't want to hold others up for a toilet visit

Usually a good 20 mins before breakfast or straight after breakfast, well before decent are my times to go
