Emirates increases baggage allowances

It’s never been a better time to fly with Emirates. Now you can check in 30kg for Economy Class, 40kg for Business Class and 50kg for First Class*.

And it doesn’t end there. If you’re a Skywards Gold or Silver member you can check in an additional 16kg or 12kg respectively*.

On some routes in some planes maybe.
But i am amazed they dared to increase, i guess they also calculate most people do not exceed 20 or 23kgs anyway.

Add that to the fact that EK cuts out the need for a third flight with their range of destinations, it becomes more appealing

Yes I'm sure most don't. I wonder too, if they also can cut out a few check in staff here and there Those that do go over in weight seem to spend a disproportionate amount of time arguing with (and wasting time of) check in staff and other pax.
