I decided that with some of our Skyward miles due to expire in September, and given we didn't need the points for Qantas flights in the foreseeable future, to give my wife a treat. So I logged into the Emirates High Street store and let my wife pick jewellry to be paid for with my miles, and then she switched to her account and picked jewellry with her miles.

So after two plane trips to Venice and back, plus an extra 10,000 Skyward miles to me from complaints (5000 miles on each trip), she was able to buy five items of listed jewellry, some of those items being sets that included three pieces each. Postage was US$19 for the items bought on my account, and US$19 for those bought on her's. She was absolutely delighted with her purchases and my miles gift - and she is very fussy about the jewellry that she likes..

Anybody else use the Emirates High Street store to get rid of Skyward miles before they expire?
Regards,
Renato

Great to know you've had such a good experience ordering from this. I've only got around 10000 points which expire soon so might look at ordering something as a Christmas gift... to myself ☺

You should definitely have a look at what is there.
Some stuff is often reduced from what it previously was, and there is always the option to add extra US dollars to complete a purchase.

Only downside is that postage for my wife's jewellry was US$19 for her redemption purchases and another US$19 for the ones I bought for her - which was sent via Fed Ex.

My wife was extremely pleased with what arrived - all the jewellry was in the genuine Swarovski and Guess boxes.

Renato
