From my reading it appears there are 3 different F seats for the dub-mel route.
Ek404/405 777 new game changer seat
Ek406/407 a380 with refurbished first class
Ek 408/409 a380 old seat

Have I got that right. Looks like I’ve booked the old one. Is it worth changing to either of the others. The 777 has the risk of being swapped out from a game changer too?

Thanks

DUB is Dublin. DXB is Dubai.

Have you compared your booking's seat selection map (on the EK website) with AeroLOPA?
Good point. It seems if there is premium economy then it’s a refurbed plane and presumably refurbed first also.

The difference between the non-'Gamechanger' first class seats on both the A380 and 77W is basically just the colour of the trim (on some very old 77Ws, the screen is also smaller and lo-res) and a slightly higher door. It's a lot less blingy and more muted on the new version.

Review: "New" Emirates First Class Airbus A380 (DXB-IAH) has some pictures

Not worth paying a change fee IMO.

Having recently flown both the refurbished and non-refurbished A380 F, the differences are very small. If anything, my partner preferred the non-refurbished seats.
