Hi
New to AFF,
Any tips for vision impaired person travelling business class on the Emirates planes?
Is the EK 425 a refurbished aircraft? Lie flat seats?
Travelling 23/5/25 EK 425 and EK3

Can I view seat map of booked seats/available seats?

Thank you in advance

Welcome to AFF @Bugs
Nice first post and hopefully some of the very knowledgeable folk here can assist with answers.
I will say though, travelling from DXB to SIN a few years back, the cabin crew were exceptional with 2 vision impaired passengers across the aisle from us.
Enjoy ✈️

Yes you can view the seat maps for your booking on the Emirates website.
EK425 - I prefer rows 6 and 7 in the mini cabin on the B777
EK3 - The bar is in the rear mini cabin on the A380 so you may find it noisy in rows 22 to 26

Try to move to an A or K seat as it's closer to the window than the aisle compared to a B or J seat
I’m on QF code share ticket, and it says I cannot change seat. I’ll wait patiently for check in opening, or ask at airport check-in. It does get awkward at times with low/impaired vision within the cabin. I usually let people around me know, if they haven’t already noticed. That way they can let me know if I’m blocking their way and so on. 👍😎
