Emirates commits to first-class luxury long haul
Much like the JQ charter may be directed at TT, seems like EK is seizing on QF's self-inflicted perception of premium passenger neglect - might make a difference for pax still wanting to fly First out of ports other than SYD to Asia (other than SIN) or Europe (other than LHR).
If only Skywards was part of one of the major alliances!
While an announcement is expected from Qantas soon that it will reduce the number of first-class seats on some routes, Emirates confirmed last week its commitment to premium passengers.
Emirates' vice-president in Australia, Stephen Pearse, says first-class suites will remain on all the airline's long-haul flights. "We are committed to three classes and the premium passenger," he says.
