Hey all,

Just got this in the inbox:

Emirates has an exclusive offer for all MasterCard® holders. For a limited time, pay less when you use your MasterCard® to book an Emirates Business Class flight to New Zealand at emirates.com/au/mastercard.

Business Class One–way from Return from
Sydney to Auckland from $577* from $1,121*
Sydney to Christchurch from $566* from $1,099*
Melbourne to Auckland from $571* from $1,103*
Brisbane to Auckland from $580* from $1,126*

Not bad for Melbourne to AKL, also BNE to AKL; LAN is still 400 or so cheaper and EK doesn't have useful FFP.

Although, door-to-door Chauffeur-drive service~

The chauffeur drive is worth $250 for my journeys to airport and EK vs LA , LA wouldn't be my choice

I would disagree on the FFP; The EK FFP is v good value imo . 1 way UK-OZ in F earned me 120% of the points needed for an upgrade from SYD-BKK c.f. QF where a non status member in F would earn 40% of the requirements with even a platinum member only getting 67.5% of the requirements ... not only got enough points but upgrades are booked an confirmed ( no need to enter a lottery ) plus the upgrade also gives the chauffeur services
