As posted on Airlineroute.net:

@airlineroute: Emirates reduces Perth service from 3 to 2 daily from 30APR14 to 20JUL14 (DXB dep 30APR - 19JUL; PER dep 01MAY - 20JUL)

EY should consider bringing their launch forward...

I'm rather curious as to how the DXB runway works are going to affect EK.

Airline route have been tracking it, still a WIP

Thanks markis10. Having read through that, Perth is the only Australian port to see a temporary reduction. It will be interesting to see how well EK handle the disruption to their growth.

Interesting list. Looks at this stage other AU flights not affected schedule wise (although no doubt some arrival delays etc).

Any confirmation that QF's DXB flights remain unchanged or still an unknown?

Sounds like a good excuse for QF to introduce a PER-DXB flight or PER-HKG to provide alternative Europe connections!

I have a feeling EK might drop the 3rd Service permanently. From my recent tripand some colleagues, EK is not very full at all.

With recent intro from EY and possibly more competition from QR... I Hope fares go down. It's about time Per wins!

Sadly I see QF pulling out from Per completely.

Who knows, with the codeshares on the SIN flight they might be breaking even most days?

This change worked on my favour. As I had award EK flights in F booked to MAN, but had a 10hr stopover in DBX. Received email a week or two ago changing my PER flight so I had only a 2 hour stopover :).

I have found the EK flights out of PER very full on my trips.

That SIN-PER flight has been almost dead empty every time I've flown it in the last 18 months. Presumably because due to the scheduling it is a horrible connection from Europe.
