EK lounge in Bangkok

My partner and I are taking advantage of the $888 return airfares to Bangkok ex MEL (same price from SYD but 20 extra SC from MEL)

I can fly with EK to and from Bangkok from SYD however the QF flights times better for the trip to Bangkok. There are QF and EK return flights with good times however figured might as well try EK.

Being Gold I should hopefully be able to select seats at the back of the aircraft so there are only two of us but just wondering being QF Gold, I should have access to the EK Lounge in Bangkok?

Are you travelling after March 31st? At this stage it looks like the answer will be 'no' but either way, you're not missing out on anything. The Emirates lounge at BKK is an absolute dump. You would most likely have more fun wandering around the terminal and you'd probably find better food at the food court.
