EK cuts PER to double daily from July 2015

It might be only half full down the back, during the slowest inbound period for this time, but I bet the load would have been higher in the pointy end.

Also the return flight back to Dubai would have had higher loads with all the paxs travelling to Europe to escape the summer.

Was actually the same (about 50%) at the pointy end. Had a friend up front who I caught up with in the DXB lounge beforehand and during the flight.

He paid $8k more than me but I had 4 empty seats across in cattle, so I probably got as good a sleep as he did.

Remember, we are just now dropping to 2 flights each way daily instead of 3 flights, some lag in the changeover.

Expect the flights to be more crowded in September with only the 2 flight options.

Fairly dubious method of coming up with that prediction IMHO.

Try the macro and micro economic factors.

Denial won't really assist you in setting realistic capacity expectations.
