More out of curiosity than anything, but just wondering why EDR is still in its own forum whereas Fly Buys has been moved into a sub-topic of Shopping Reward Programs alongside Myer One?

Probably reflects the respective usefulness of the two programs...

It may be just one of those things...

However, FlyBuys and MyerOne are more or less standalone programs with their own point systems, reward scheme etc.

EDR has its own bits and pieces, but is largely used (at least by the membership here), to drive QFF points.

Probably should be another miscellaneous sub topic thread in Shopping Reward Programs for reward schemes like Coke Rewards, Nescafe cup of rewards Gatorade get the gear etc.

The shopping rewards section would be where they can go now, when a topic gets busy it gets its own subforum.

Come to think of it, why did Myer One even get added in the first place? At least FlyBuys has some history with actual - you know - frequent flyer programs :) and EDR is obviously being used to harvest QFF points as oz_mark noted...

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Myer One Points can be earned buying Air NZ airfares, Marriott stays and Europcar also participate, so its a frequent traveller program in its own right, not to mention being able to double dip at Caltex.
