Not sure who else on AFF received an email last night from Easyjet celebrating that they are 20 years old.

From the email, each person would be different if you had flown with Easyjet.

It’s been 20 years since we buckled up for our first ever easyJet flight – how #timeflies. And it’s been 120 months since yours…
It was 14 November 2005 when you left London behind and stepped off the plane in Amsterdam

And you’ve covered 959 km to be precise.

You’ve been to Berlin with us, why not try London? We think you’ll love it.

Adventure awaits

To celebrate our 20th birthday, we’ve put together a list of our top 20 favourite experiences across Europe – enjoy!

I thought it was a clever email.:)

Will always remember our 2003 Easyjet flights and the crazy prices even with our pitiful $. 4x EDI-LGW for $185 and 4x LIN-ORY for $135.
Memory ingrained with being bused out to the plane at Linate and the resulting stampede to the two boarding ramps.

Had my most recent experience on Easyjet a couple of months ago. Flights were from LUX-MXP (return). Had to laugh:

a) only one carry on size bag allowed (that included a handbag) but no weight limit (just as long as bag could fit into the bag check at the gate) - so many people shoving extra bags into the carry on size bag - fun to watch; and
b) they went through the process of scanning our boarding passes only to have us stand on the other side for ages (still within the terminal though and in amongst bollards with the rope barrier) - so you could easily cross back to the other (pre-scan) section just by ducking your head under the barrier - so much for security!

It was relatively cheap and the flight was good, but the prelim process to boarding really left a lot to be desired.

Done 2 flights with them: Rak-Cdg; Cdg-Bcn in 2009...cheap and OK / good flights....my last trip to Paris, somewhat poignant for me given overnight events :(

I thought it was clever, except that my only flight with them originated in Krakow. So my offer was other flights from Krakow - unlikely!

It appears we will be flying easyJet LGW-VLC mid June. I have no idea about this mob so would appreciate any tips / suggestions / thoughts re booking / seat selection etc. Taa in advance.

(This was first easyJet thread I found)

Nothing wrong with Row 1 on starboard side - as both 1 & 10? require you to put your hand-held in overhead bins.

And of course you have front row seats for the performances by staff (eg selling of scratch lottery tickets).

1D/1E not available it appears - legroom A/B/C? Row 10 def not in consideration.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.
